Waukesha is ideally suited for Co-Generation applications. High levels of efficiency & operational feasibility can be achieved by generating power and at the same time recovering waste heat of the engine.
Waukesha Gas Engines have higher Jacket Water and Exhaust temperatures. Waukesha Generator can produce hot water at 90°C plus which can be utilized for process specially for Hot Water Fired Absorption Chillers. Several Gensets in Pakistan are producing power and utilizing hot water for Chiller Application.
The company has so far installed 13 Co-Generation plants recovering waste heat from Jacket and Exhaust of Waukesha Gensets to produce Hot Water and Steam.
A 4 MW Co-Gen Plant commissioned in 1989
Electricity and 75°C hot water being produced at a mill since 1994
Vaporphase Exhaust Recovery Boilers coupled with 635 KW
Gensets producing 450 Kg/Hr Steam at 8 bar at a Textile Mill.
